To complete the correspondence regarding Marine Lot 2184, I beg to enclose for the perusal of His Excellency the Governor, a copy, from the documents filed in the Supreme Court in the suit of Chun Yik Chung v. Stephens, of a letter addressed by Mr Danby to Mr Gittins of Gillies, the Hongkong and Whampoa Dock Co., the former owners under the old title of Marine Lot No 184, from which His Excellency will be able to estimate, at its proper value, the sole unsupported testimony of its writer, when he states that the Crown has made a prior grant of 339 square feet in dispute.
